Use
It is used in gastrointestinal inflammation, coughs, colic, diarrhea in infants, cholesterol level reduction, diabetes, and as an eyewash for inflamed eyes. Externally, it can be used as a poultice for inflamed, irritated skin conditions.
Do not use during pregnancy
Active Constituents of Fenugreek
Fenugreek seeds contain steroidal sapponins, diosgenin, coumarin, hydroxy-isoluceine and luceine, tyrosine, protein, B-Complex Vitamins including folate, lecithin and small amounts of vitamin C and beta carotene.
